PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT Dear all, A Short Course with titel: C2 Stable Isotopes and Calibration, Standards, Isotopic Scales, Traceability, and more... will be held at the EGU2008. Although not all presentators are fixed (soon they will), besides myself, Pier de Groot (Delta Isotopes Consultancy, Belgium), also Bob Vocke (NIST, USA) agreed to participate. Probably there will be a third presentator, who will be included in the definitive announcement if positive, probably end of January start of February. Why this preliminary announcement? Just to make participation at the Isotope Program more interesting for those who are not certain in their decision yet. Final announcement will be after the dead-line for abstract submission... I invite everybody who has interest or intention to participate at such a Short Course, to sent me a message. Of course it does no oblige to anything it is important to know a number of participants for organization purpose. Those who want to wait for the definitive program, please Œregister¹ later after the final announcement. Best wishes, Pier. **************************************************************** Delta Isotopes Consultancy Dr. Pier A. de Groot Pastoor Moorkensstraat 16 2400 Mol - Achterbos Belgium Tel. +32 (0)14 326 205 e-mail: [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask] Associate editor for stable isotopes of eEarth on-line magazine http://www.electronic-earth.net Head of Isotopes in Geosciences of the European Geoscience Union (EGU).
