Carl,
Assuming the fiberline cable and connections for the DeltaVPlus and the MAT253 are the same (they look to be) the following is what I've ordered through Thermo for one of our 253s where I wanted greater reach on the cable.  I should be receiving these items this week, so I don't have a success story to tell as of yet.

2052590   LIGHT-PIPE, fibre line PC-->MS, 6 Meter            $174.07
2045730   Opto coupler gray                                     $5.15
2045740   Opto coupler blue                                      $5.15

All,

I operate two ThermoFinnigan DeltaVPlus systems, and would like to move the Isodat PC's farther from the MS's than the supplied fiber optic cable will permit. I've searched all over the web for cables with these terminations, checked with our computer support group, contacted tech support at Thermo, and am still coming up with nothing. [
Interestingly, the single ends (as opposed to duplexed end) exactly match (to the extent that memory allows) the connector used on the VG Autospec (vintage 1992)  that we sold last year... perhaps this is an obsolete item that Thermo has and is using up? ]

Has anyone found a supplier for these cables, or even been able to determine a name or type for the terminations?

Thanks in advance,
Carl Johnson
