We have rolled out to the high school but teachers prefer to use Jump rope, we are also using it at the middle school level meeting little resistance. I have heard that teachers can not mass email student/parent from within PTP like they could from PTG. My findings are you need to have the Learning module add-on which adds the "Class" icon to be able to email from PTP.

IT support-wise it is easier as there is no more download.  I never attempted to customize PTG.  PTP is written using AJAX, JQuery, and Angular JS.  I'm still pretty new to all of those but I was able to take the PTP Customizations class at PSU this year and I hope to be able to dive deeper into it this year.

We are also adding 'standards' into the mix, which makes things a bit more interesting.

So far, so good. PTG will be phased out by powerschool at some point, so we're moving forward with PT Pro.
