Hi Phyllis
We are usually more than happy with 5-6ml/min!
We once had an issue with the o-rings on our piston after changing them without referring to the manual and realising each of the three had to be seated in specific orientations.  Anyway if you are not aware of this worth a look, or I would be happy with what you have.
Thanks
Chris

Despite my efforts to fix it,  a small leak appears to be in our Flash 2000 EA instrument. The Eager software shows a 5-6ml/min leak in the carrier gas when I close the outlet gas lines. However, our electronic leak detector and Argon leak testing are not showing the leak. There is gas detected at the auto sampler, but I thought that was normal. I have replaced both reactors and their seals, changed water trap and cleaned A/S piston and replaced it’s seals, then ran 100ml/min Helium carrier gas overnight. Today, argon background is 83mV. Other backgrounds are similar to previous. When I run on/offs, the 30 cup has a baseline around 1200mV and rises with the pulse to about 1400mV. I ran 10+ on/offs, of which all failed to pass. My inexperience leaves me questioning what to check next. Any suggestions are much-appreciated.

Thanks,

   Phyllis Dieter
