Hi Dana!

I used Jun-Air compressors at the University of Vermont and Northwestern University and while they worked well, they had the unfortunate tendency to spray oil every time the build-up pressure cycle stopped when they reached the set delivery pressure, even though I was careful about regularly draining them manually.  When I got to the University at Albany, I decided I didn’t want to keep a tray underneath the compressor to catch the oil, so I opted for a compressor from the Panther series from Werther International.  Although their design resembles that of the Jun-Air compressors, it never sprayed oil like the Jun-Air compressors.  See

Hello all,
We are needing to move from using building compressed air to an offline compressed air system. We have 3 mass spec set-ups: 1)GC Isolink, Conflo, Delta V Plus, 2)EA, TCEA, Conflo, Delta V Advantage, and 3)Gasbench, Precon, Delta V Advantage. Does anyone have recommendations on a system that could handle all listed instruments? Also, the quieter, the better.
Thanks in advance!
Best,
Dana
