I'm looking for opinions about the analysis of phosphorus at very low concentration (< 0.5 ppm) in tallows, vegetable oils or even used cooking oils. Many labs adopted methods like ASTM or AOCS but it turns out that the lower detection is over 1 ppm using an ICP-OES. What can be the best solvent for this type of Samples with a good plasma flame?

Any ideas would be very helpful for me, I'm very new to the Icp-oes technique.
