Thanks. And yet, one of these Acer Spin 714s is just now on v119 and says no updates are available, so it's something to keep an eye on for sure. I think it will slowly work out as the these "Plus" CBs are more popular and I learn more.

The teachers who were interested in these first-test Chromebooks replacing Windows laptops love Flips and are addicted to touch screens so far. But we've got plenty who won't switch. It will work out though as new teachers come in and some switch and then the turned in Window laptops that are only three years old will be usable for parts for a while.

My bad. It was the OU I think. Auto Updating was on, and the OU inherited works for other CBs, but in the new OU under Auto Update, the submenu "Target Version" was on a grayed-out "84" and not set to update to the current version.

Hi Caleb,

We experienced an issue that sounds similar to what you're describing with several of our Chromebook models; I'm not sure if it is the same exact issue you are having.

Our "workaround" was to navigate to the bottom left of the Chromebook, click on the launcher, and type in "update."  This opened a new window where we could update to the newest Chrome OS.

Has anyone run into this? I've found out that my teacher Chromebooks (Acer Flip 714s) are on older ChromeOSes like 105 or 116 and not auto-updating, even after checking for updates or using the crosh command "autest”

I updated them by installing a new OS of a USB, but they still won't upgrade to the latest from 122. I've checked the OU and it's not a setting there.
