Hey Caleb,

I've actually been working on a "non-technical intro to AI" type of presentation for the staff here at Mill River.  I focus on what AI is, some specific tools that we support (In our case that is Gemini and Magic School) and also examples of the types of tasks an AI would be helpful with for teachers.  It's a short 10 slide presentation, and it's still very much a work in progress.  But if anyone is interested, you can take a look at it HERE.  Hope this info is helpful!

Hi Caleb

I think quick draw from Google can be a good icebreaker for this

Even if the audience just watches, someone do it-
It usually generates some laughter and can lead to some good questions about AI and how it works

I look forward to seeing what you come up with As prompt for your discussion. I hope you share them with us and how it went.

I wonder if it would be helpful data for those of us who are also leading such discussions, to curate talking points, as well as some summaries of Opportunities and concerns that surface during these discussions.

Vermont CSTA would be happy to help make that happen if there were interest

We've got about 30 minutes at an all-staff meeting at Brattleboro Union High School coming up. It will be the first such meeting on the topic of AI.

Any tips out there?

We're thinking very simply, with a little intro and most of the time for group discussions where each person shares their AI thoughts/usages.
