I spent the better part of a year fiddling with something that looks shocking-ly like the Magic Classroom but has a bit different functionality.  I have some experience with web design so most of my magic happens in a gui-ish interface inside the spreadsheet.

It's not likely to happen at 2:30 on Friday but I could put together a video if anyone is interested.  

You can see all classes, create them, add and remove teachers and students, see lists of students, lists of coteachers, archive classes.   That's about it.  

I often use it to add my self to classes troubleshoot and then remove myself.  I also use it to create all the classes for each HS section at the beginning of the year and we archive ALL classes at the beginning of August, teachers can un-archive if they want to keep them.
