I'm interested in doing stable isotope geochemistry of foraminifera
and this type of work has never been done with the mass spec at our
university. My preference woiu

ld be to do the work in house, if possible,
but I'm also considering having it done elsewhere.
My first question regards trapping the CO2 released from dissolving
the forams. Is there some type of chamber that can be purchased for this
or does it require another type of mass spec?
Or, if doing the work at my university is impossible, does anyone
know of a lab that offers mass spec services, of 18-O & 13-C on forams?

Thank you,
