The State of Vermont, through the Vermont Mapping Program is going to be taking new aerial photographs of all of Windham and Bennington Counties. These photographs after being rectified into orthophotographs are delivered to the municipalities at no charge.

In order to rectify the aerial photographs we need to know real world coordinate values. We get these values by putting a target (white "x" or "t") over known survey monuments. These targets are 30 feet from end of leg to end of leg and 2 feet wide.

THE TARGETS ARE ON THE GROUND NOW. They need to remain there until we have them picked up sometime after May 15. If anyone has questions, please refer them directly to me.

Again it is extremely important that these targets are not disturbed. Thanks.
