   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   _Tonight: _Light wind becoming south at 5 to 10 knots by morning.
   waves less than a foot.

   _Saturday: _south Wind at 5 to 10 knots. Waves a foot or less.

   _Saturday Night: _Wind shifting to the northwest and increasing to 10
   to 20 knots. Rain showers likely, reducing visibilities to 3 to 5
   miles.

   _Sunday: _Northwest wind at 10 to 20 knots. A chance of rain showers.
   visibility unrestricted.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King street ferry dock was 100.70
   feet. The water temperature was 39 degrees.
