   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   _A Lake wind advisory is in effect for today _

   _Today: _south Wind increasing to 15 to 25 knots. Waves building to 2
   to 3 feet. Rain showers likely during the afternoon. visibilities will
   be 5 miles in any rain.

   _Tonight: _Northwest wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Rain
   tapering to showers overnight. Visibilities will be 5 miles in any
   rain.

   _Tuesday: _Northwest wind 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Chance of
   morning sprinkles. Visibilities unrestricted.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King street ferry dock was 100.54
   feet. The water temperature was 39 degrees.
