   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   _Tonight: _south Wind becoming northwest 10 to 20 knots after
   midnight. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Showers until around midnight with
   visibility lowering to 3 to 5 miles.

   _Tuesday: _Northwest wind 15 to 20 knots. Waves near 2 feet.

   _Tuesday Night: _Light wind and near calm water.

   _Wednesday: _Wind becoming south 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King street ferry dock was 100.46
   feet. The water temperature was 39 degrees.
