   Lake Champlain Open waters forecast.

   _A Lake wind advisory through this afternoon _

   _This afternoon: _south Wind 20 to 30 knots shifting to north 10 to 15
   knots late. Waves around 3 feet subsiding to 1 to 2 feet late.
   occasional rain, lowering visibility to below 3 miles. Chance of a
   thunderstorm.

   _Tonight: _north Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves around a foot. Visibility
   5 miles in scattered early evening showers.

   _Friday: _north Wind 10 knots. Waves 1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain level at the King street ferry dock was 100.74
   feet. Water temperature was 50 degrees.
