   Lake Champlain Open waters forecast.

   _A Lake wind advisory through this afternoon _

   _Today: _southwest Wind 15 to 25 knots through early afternoon,
   shifting to north at 10 to 15 knots late. Waves 2 to 3 feet early but
   diminishing to 1 to 2 feet late. Visibility lowering to 2 miles in
   rain. Chance of a thunderstorm.

   _Tonight: _north Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves around a foot. Visibility
   5 miles in scattered early evening showers.

   _Friday: _north Wind 10 knots. Waves 1 foot.

   The Lake Champlain level at the King street ferry dock was 100.90
   feet. Water temperature was 48 degrees.
