   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   _Tonight: _south Wind at 10 to 20 knots with higher gusts. Waves 1 to
   2 feet.

   _Wednesday: _south Wind increasing to 15 to 25 knots with gusts to 30
   knots. Waves building to 2 to 3 feet. A Chance of afternoon showers,
   which May reduce visibility to around 5 miles.

   _Wednesday Night: _south Wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves around A foot.

   _Thursday: _south Wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves around A foot.

   The Lake Champlain level at the King street ferry dock was 99.98 feet.
   The water temperature was 48 degrees.
