    The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

    _Tonight: _south Wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

    _Thursday: _Wind becoming northwest 5 to 15 knots early in the day. waves
    around 1 foot.

    _Thursday Night: _Light and variable wind. Near calm water. chance of
    showers toward sunrise.

    _Friday: _south Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. showers and
    thunderstorms likely, reducing visibility to between 1 and 3 miles.

    The Lake Champlain level at the King street ferry dock was 99.86 feet. The
    water temperature was 52 degrees.
