Under the night sky and set against the picturesque backdrop
of the Intervale, experience the "new living installation" created by
the
award-winning Japanese performance artists that brought us The River
Project. Harking back to an ancient form of itinerant theatre, The
Caravan
Project slowly unfolds from the landscape in this enchanting
site-specific
work. Make an evening of it with picnics at the Picnic Shelter, walks
through the gardens and trails, and candlelight tours of the Homestead!

                The artists' signature workshop is designed for all
people
who love to move or who want to love to move with delicious feelings.
Eiko &
Koma are committed to encouraging each participant to develop a lifelong

pleasure and challenge in dancing any time, anywhere. Eiko & Koma's
movement
vocabulary, which employs images, body articulation, floor work and
transformation is provided as common ground in which each participant
can
improvise to express personal tastes and movements that are suited to
their
