   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   _Today: _south Wind around 10 knots. Waves 1 foot. A Chance of A
   shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon.Visibility may be reduced to 5
   miles. Wind and waves may be higher in the vicinity of any
   thunderstorms.

   _Tonight: _southeast Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A Chance
   of showers or thunderstorms. Visibility may be reduced to 5 miles.
   Wind and waves may be higher in the vicinity of any thunderstorms.

   _Saturday: _south Wind 15 to 25 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A Chance of
   showers. Visibility may be reduced to 5 miles.

   The Lake Champlain level at the King street ferry dock was 96.52 feet.
   The water temperature was 64 degrees.
