EMTSers: Please forgive the cross-posting.

From now until March 16th, the Educational Media and Technology Section (EMTS)
of MLA is soliciting recommendations for computer assisted instruction (CAI)
software to exhibit in the Learning Center at the Annual Meeting in Orlando.

The Learning Center provides a place for meeting attendees to explore and
evaluate a wide range of CAI software in one place and compare programs side
by side. We are looking specifically for CAI programs (not productivity
software or electronic library compilations) that are effectively designed for
use by students. Both commercial and academic productions can be considered.
This year marks the fist time that programs can be either cd-rom or
web-based. Some of last year’s titles included The Dynamic Cell
(Springer-Verlag), Massachusetts General Hospital e-cases (Login Brothers),
Mosby’s Primary Care Procedures: Gynecologic Procedures and Women’s Health
(Mosby) and The Bones of the Skull (University of Iowa).

Please send recommendations for CAI programs that are newly released or have
had major revisions in the past year directly to me (please do not reply to the
list) at: [log in to unmask] .

Remember, the deadline is March 16th. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
