From: "Ian M" <[log in to unmask]> > do it. I just find it unfair that snowboarders are not allowed certain places > even as a avid skier and rider. Maybe one should create a board only resort?? It's been done. The Snowboard Ranch, in Bethany, Ontario, Canada originally was a "snowboard only" hill. It formerly operated as Silver Fox and last operated as The Ski and Snowboard Ranch. Halfway through the first season they started allowing skiers becasue they needed the money. It may not have been enough, as I understand they aren't operating at all this season. There is a clear and defined process for getting snowboarding allowed at MRG. A certain % of shareholders must vote to allow it. Buy a share and you get to vote. If 40,000 snowboarders each bought a share, then you might be able to outlaw skiing there. As the business world goes, you can't get much more democratic than that. Everyone chill. I'm sure we'll pick somewhere that offers equal-opportunity snow recreation. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - SkiVt-L is brought to you by the University of Vermont.
