Reminder --

UVM's giraffe host and the Banner Student Information System (SIS) will be
unavailable for approximately 30 minutes this evening,

        Wednesday, April 25, 2001
        from 5pm to 5:30pm

while some minor system maintenance is being applied.

This will affect all forms of access to the student information system:

         []     Web and Touch-tone registration for spring or summer.

         []     Web access for the UVM Course Catalog.

                 This includes everything found by going to the UVM
                 home page and choosing "Academics", then
                 "General Course Catalog";

          []     Web access for course info, class lists, schedules,

                 This includes everything on the Registrar's web pages,
                 found by going to the UVM home page and choosing
                 "Administration", then "Offices and Services", then
                 "Registrar's Office"; or by going to:


          []    Web access to the FRS Query, Bullseye and Line Management
                System applications.

          []     Telnet or dial-in to giraffe for Banner SIS or any other

656-2604.  As usual, once Banner SIS is again available, usage and PIN
questions should be directed to the Registrar's Office,
