The College of Education at Michigan State University is seeking candidates for a specialist position in the area of technology applied to teaching and learning. The college is engaged in a variety of activities addressing the technology needs of K-12 Educators.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will advise K-12 schools about technology integration, work with school administrators and teachers on technology integration, develop and implement professional development programs, develop technology plans for schools. This is a 2 year, potentially renewable position. It begins approximately September 1, 2001.
Qualifications: Masters in educational technology, related field or equivalent, K-12 teaching experience, record of successful experiences with technology integration, demonstrated leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of current research in educational technology, familiarity with emerging technologies, knowledge and experience with K-12 school technologies.
