   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Tonight: South Wind decreasing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves subsiding to
   around a foot.
   Tuesday: Southwest wind increasing 15 to 25 mph. Waves building to 2
   to 3 feet. A chance of thunderstorms, especially during the late
   morning and afternoon hours. Visibilities reduced to around a mile in
   any thunderstorms.
   Tuesday Night: West Wind 10 to 15 knots, becoming northwest after
   midnight and decreasing to 5 to 10 knots. Waves around a foot through
   midnight, then subsiding to less than a foot. A chance of
   thunderstorms, which may reduce visibilities to around 3 miles.
   Wednesday: Northwest wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 95.72
   feet. The water temperature was 71 degrees. The ultraviolet index for
   Tuesday, July 24 is a 6. This is in the moderate category.
