There's a GREAT village at the base of Whistler. Lots of shops,
restaurants, etc..  Yes, there's a movie theater, but I think it's only
1 screen.  There are guided heli tours (non skiing, just flying) and
other similar things to do.  Wish I had time to look around for some
URL's.

The shuttle service is good; means you don't have to stay *in* the
village, but can still get around sans-car.
