   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Lake Wind advisory in effect

   Lake Thunderstorm advisory in effect

   This evening: South Wind 15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet. visibility
   lowering to below 3 miles in showers and thunderstorms. wind and waves
   locally higher in the vicinity of any thunderstorms.
   Tonight: Southwest wind 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest 15 to 20
   knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Visibility lowering to below 3 miles in
   showers and thunderstorms. Wind and waves locally higher in the
   vicinity of any thunderstorms.
   Saturday: Northwest wind 15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
   Saturday Night: Northwest wind 15 to 20 knots diminishing to around 10
   knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
   Sunday: Northwest wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.52
   feet. The water temperature was 68 degrees. The ultraviolet index for
   Saturday, September 1 is a 5. This is in the moderate category.
