    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Lake Wind advisory in effect

   Today: South Wind increasing to 20 to 30 knots with higher gusts this
   morning, then becoming southwest this afternoon. Waves building to 3
   to 5 feet. Visibility lowering to below 3 miles in showers and
   thunderstorms around midday. Winds and waves locally higher in the
   vicinity of any thunderstorms.
   Tonight: Southwest wind 15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet. Chance of a
   shower with visibility unrestricted.
   Friday: South Wind increasing to 20 to 30 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
   visibility lowering to 3 to 5 miles in showers, mainly in the
   afternoon.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 93.74
   feet. The water temperature was 55 degrees.
