"No Child Left Behind":
What it Means for Parents
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2001 8-9 PM EASTERN
***********************

U.S. Secretary of Education, Rod Paige will host a
special Satellite Town Meeting forum focusing on the
President's "No Child Left Behind" education plan.
Legislation establishing an aggressive, early reading
program, annual student tests and accountability
systems are among the topics to be addressed.

Secretary Paige and his co-host, Undersecretary of
Education, Gene Hickok will present this traditional
town meeting with live testimonials and take studio
audience questions. The program will feature short
videos that highlight how legislative changes in
reading instruction and testing and accountability
will impact parents and their children.
