Keep in mind that Innsbruck is dirt cheap for a reason.  It has about the
worst snow record of any major resorts in the Alps.   Although the town
resorts are linked to some smaller nearby glacier options, everybody else
will be doing the same thing in low snow periods, leading to horrendous
crowds.

If you want "guaranteed" (asfrickinif that's possible anywhere) good snow in
Austria as well as decent terrian options, the Aarlberg (St.
Anton-Lech-Zurs-Stuben) and the Sportgastein/Bad Gastein/ BadHofgastein
regions are the places to go (outside of the various glacier operations like
Kaprun, parts of Montafon etc).
