This afternoon, Mar.25, Mother Nature rewarded me with a wonderful outing at
Dead Creek.

I sighted two immature golden eagles, one with a sizable gap in its tail.
The other was being dive-bombed by a Cooper's hawk. A red-tail circling
nearby provided a nice perspective on the eagle's size.

Also spotted were two dark phase rough-legged hawks.

Finally, a flock of 2-3000 snow geese flew directly over me, 50 feet up, a
living bedspread of sound and motion.
