This morning I saw my first blackbird on Crossett Hill in Duxbury.  This
was as the snowflakes were flying, as a matter of fact.  Then shortly
thereafter at my feeder, I had a flock of REdpolls, only more than
usual.  I would say that there was a flock of at least 40.  They seemed
much more vociferous than usual also.  Perhaps they are excited about
