Hi Chip: Hard to tell what your moth is without a photo. Could be one of the foresters , I noticed there was Virginia Creeper at North Branch. We get both the Eight-spotted and Langton's forester here in Vermont, both are day fliers. Virginia Creeper is the host plant for the Eight-spotted forester. I'm looking forward to your photo. Scott
