The marshes of the Little Otter Creek were alive with birds even during
the bright sun of the afternoon.  Mostly MARSH WRENS, PIE-BILLED GREBES,
GREAT BLUE HERONS and MOORHEN/COOTS.  But the highlight was near the
mouth of the river where a LEAST BITTERN was calling.
