   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast

   Today: Northeast wind becoming southeast 5 to 15 knots. waves 1 to 2
   feet.
   Tonight: Southeast wind 10 knots. Waves 1 foot. Showers likely,
   reducing visibilities to 3 to 5 miles.
   Saturday: Southeast wind 10 knots. Waves 1 foot. Occasional rain
   reducing visibilities to 3 to 5 miles.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 98.06
   feet. The water temperature was 54 degrees.
