Some of the highlights from the holiday weekend in the Mount Snow quad: 7/4 European Skipper Common Ringlet E.Tiger Swallowtail Peck's Skipper White Admiral Aphrodite Fritt. Clouded Sulphur Harris' Checkerspot Mulberrywing No. Cloudywing 7/6 European Skipper Atlantis Fritt. Common Ringlet Tawny-edged Skipper Long Dash Mourning Cloak Clouded Sulphur Silver-bordered Fritt. Peck's Skipper Orange Sulphur E.Tiger Swallowtail 7/7 In the Jacksonville quad: European Skipper Little Glassywing Monarch Peck's Skipper Common Ringlet Viceroy Also on 7/7, I went out of my quad into (I think) Bennington quad. I was in Aiken Wilderness (el. 2034ft. N 42*52.170' W 073*01.186') Crossling Skipper White Admiral European Skipper Hobomok Skipper Common Ringlet E.Tiger Swallowtail Also saw a beautiful Calico Pennant (dragonfly). Can't wait to get back up for more, but am going to Oregon next week to the NABA biennial member's meeting. I'll get plenty of butterflies and birds there. Jackie Parker
