Notable at Green River Reservoir August 19-22 Common Loon- 7 Great Blue Heron - 3 Red-shouldered Hawk Common Merganser - 26 in one group Raven - 4 Cedar Waxwings - 50+ Wood duck - 4 Nighthawk - 1 (This is notable to me given that I live in Montpelier and this is the first Nighthawk I have seen all year. Anyone else noticed their absence?) Barred Owl - 3 maybe 4
