Goodness knows what they're seeing at Philo today, but I had a very
productive (and extended) lunch break hawk watch from atop the Ethan Allen
Lookout Tower off North Ave.
My very first scan brought me a juv Bald Eagle in the same view as a Broad
wing and an Osprey. There were a lot of birds in the air with Noon to 1pm
being most productive.

In about 1 1/2 hours I counted:

30+ BROAD WING (many individuals and duos over the lake shore, no kettles
bigger than 4!)
1 BALD EAGLE
1 MERLIN
3 OSPREY
2 ACCIP (unidentified)

...seen soaring but probably not migrating:
40+ TV's
3 RT's
1 RED SHOULDERED

Wishing I was at Philo,
