From Exit 4, I-91, go north on US 5 to center of Putney. Turn left on
Westminster West Road (unmarked), drive 1.1 miles, turn left on West Hill
Road and proceed another 2.5 miles to Putney Mountain Road. Turn right on
Putney Mountain road and continue 3.3 miles to the crest of the ridge and a
parking lot on the right. Behind the parking lot, hike north on the "Main
Trail along the ridge .6 mile to the summit.

Hawk watch is manned entirely by volunteers. Certain to be several on
weekends (barring rain) - probable that there will be one or more during the
week, but some of us also have to work for a living. Its been a good
Broad-wing season, so there has been lots of coverage. Coverage will
continue through October.

By the way, I usually come from the west (newfane direction) Delorme's maps
may help you find the way from that direction. Directions above are from
Murin & Pfeiffer's "Birdwatching in Vermont." A great resource!
