Perhaps the 98 degrees today had something to do with it, but the shorebird
numbers continue to dwindle.  I did not walk through the marsh today (too
hot) so probably missed quite a few.  The lake is at 94.73 feet, still about
three inches from good habitat.  Best bird today was a Least Bittern that
decided to come out into the open for a while.
