   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Tonight: North 5 To 10 knots becoming south after midnight. Waves less
   than 1 foot.
   Wednesday: South Wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves building 1 to 3 feet. A 30
   percent chance of light rain near the Canada border in the afternoon.
   Wednesday Night: South To southwest wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 1 to 3
   feet. A chance of showers along the Canada border in the evening.
   Thursday: South Wind 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   The Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.74 feet. The water
   temperature was 58 degrees.

   The ultraviolet index for Wednesday, October 9, is a 2. This is in the
   minimal category.
