   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Today: Southeast wind 10 to 15 knots shifting to the north at 10 to 20
   knots by afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet. Rain developing this morning,
   becoming heavy at times this afternoon. Visibility less than 3 miles
   at times in rain.
   Tonight: North Wind 15 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet. rain tapering
   to scattered showers around midnight. Visibility less than 3 miles at
   times in rain.
   Thursday: West Wind 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.58
   feet. The water temperature was 56 degrees.
