After 4:00 yesterday, there were three mature bald eagles just north of the Chimney Point Lake Champlain bridge. One flew in from NY and landed in a tall conifer on the Vermont shore near the bridge within a few feet of another eagle. After a couple of minutes, one of these left and went back west and the other flew north to the next point of land in Vermont and reappeared with a third eagle. These two swooped about together for a few minutes and then headed west. It seemed like they were collecting each other at closing time. Don Ross
