Hi all,
If you have an older machine that works fine but is no longer suitable
as a multipurpose workstation, you could turn it into a Linux firewall.
Check out these 2 links to Red Hat's site for great ino on Firewall
creation. I built a firewall for my home network in a short period of
time using their sample script as a starting point. It uses IPChains.
You will need 2 nic's in the firewall box to connect multiple computers
to the internet unless you are using it via PPP in which case you will
need a modem and 1 nic.

Good Luck.
