Isle LaMotte used to use a separate Lien and Attachment Book but when I took over I began recording and indexing the documents into the Land Records. I makes more sense for someone doing the research and title work on a particular property. ----- Original Message ----- From: Juli Lax To: [log in to unmask] Sent: 2/4/03 12:07:41 PM Subject: Re: Liens Attachment Books Cora- Huntington had separate Lien/Attachment Volumes. In 2001 I started putting everything in the regular Land Records Books. Not only is it easier for me, but also for people doing research Juli -------Original Message------- From: Vermont Municipal Government Discussion Network Date: Tuesday, February 04, 2003 11:10:07 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Liens Attachment Books Hi. I have been using the Lien and Attachment book that was used by the previous Town clerk. It is now getting full and am wondering how many people use a seperate Lien/Attachment book. The book is not like my regular land record books. I am wondering if I have to purchase a new book, or if I can record in my land record book. What are the pro's and con's? What a lousy weather day, especially for a Union Highschool Budget Vote. I don't think the voter turnout will be that good.
