Subject: Town reports

I'm working Saturday AM to get our warning posted so am reading the statutes and just discovered that the town reports need to be distributed to all "town or city postal patrons" at least 10 days prior to the town meeting.  Apparently I have not been reading the statutes 17-2641(b) because I thought the town report had to be distributed to the voters.  It looks like the wording changed a few years ago.  It seems to me it would be a whole lot cheaper to just publish the warning & warrant in the newspaper and tell the townspeople to pick up their town reports.  What's your opinion?  Thanks,  Nancy
