   Midday forecasts for the mountains of Vermont and Northern New York.

   Wednesday:  At  2000  feet, temperatures 5 to 10 above. Winds 20 to 30
   mph. at the summits, temperatures zero to 5 below. Winds 30 to 40 mph.

   Thursday:  At  2000 feet, temperatures around 10 below. Winds 10 to 20
   mph. at the summits, temperatures 15 to 20 below. Winds 30 to 40 mph.

   Expect  numerous  snow  showers on Wednesday, followed by mostly sunny
   skies  on  Thursday.  Also, expect dangerously cold wind chills at the
   summits on Wednesday, and at all elevations on Thursday.
