In Middlebury one selectboard member comes in and reviews the warrant before
the meeting and then I go ahead and sign the checks. Once the entire
selectboard has signed the warrant I release the checks to be mailed. Every
once in awhile I make an exception and sign and release a check for
something that is urgent and I can't imagine the selectboard would not sign.
