   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Today: Light and variable wind, becoming north 5 to 10 knots this
   afternoon. Waves 1 foot or less, with visibility unrestricted.
   Tonight: North Wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot. Rain likely
   after midnight, with visibility reduced to 4 miles at times late.
   Thursday: North Wind around 10 knots. Waves around 1 foot. occasional
   rain and patchy fog, with visibility reduced to 3 miles at times.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 97.74
   feet. The water temperature was 48 degrees.
