   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Today: South Wind at 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet. A chance of
   showers or thunderstorms late in the afternoon near the Canadian
   border, with visibility around 5 miles in any rain.
   Tonight: South Wind at 5 to 10 knots. Waves a foot or less.
   Thursday: South Wind at 5 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 96.48
   feet. The water temperature was 69 degrees. The ultraviolet index for
   today is a 6. This is in the moderate category.
